Kevin Athersuch

Kevin joined Marsha in 2023, providing support to MMC and its clients in financial matters. He is a qualified accountant, having had a career as a Finance Director / CFO in a wide range of sectors from engineering, distribution, construction, food & drink to Care Homes, professional services, charities and IT predominantly in the West Country.

Kevin works alongside the team and is able to assist in improving an organisation’s financial position, commercial aspects including cost control and instilling accounting best practice. This can take the form of a short-term project to objectively make recommendations or an ongoing involvement to provide stewardship and rigour.

Kevin also works as an independent Finance Director, working with SME’s to help them achieve their business goals, either on a project or on a retained basis, sitting on Boards as Finance Director, guiding the internal finance team and other senior post holders.

Kevin’s experience as an independent Finance Director, over the last twelve years includes SME’s in construction, food and drink, healthcare, hospitality, information technology, property management & professional services. He has particular strengths in business partnering & planning, financial budgeting & cash flow controls, development of robust Management Information systems, as well as driving efficiencies, improving profit margin and facilitating change management and business growth.

Kevin has held positions as School Governor/Director and enjoys spending time with his family, attending live music festivals and outdoor pursuits such as walking and surfing!
