Gill has enjoyed a varied and interesting career spanning private, public and charitable sector giving her a wide range of skills and knowledge. Gill is particularly interested in studying and learning about people – what makes them tick, how to help them excel at work and in life.
Gill’s career started in hospitality, culminating in owning and running a small hotel and restaurant in Cornwall for 10 years. She then took her skills and expertise to the NHS where she worked closely with senior directors and managers to facilitate change and implement new strategies.
Throughout her career Gill has volunteered her time, culminating as Director of Samaritans of Cornwall at Truro. This facilitated a move to the charity sector where she was CEO of Citizens Advice Cornwall, steering through a period of fundamental change including the pandemic and cost of living crisis.
Gill helps people grow and develop, understanding and appreciating their unique set of skills, interests and strengths and how they can use these to contribute to organisational and personal development, success and fulfilment. She brings experience and expertise from public, private and charitable organisations to develop an understanding of the challenges and opportunities and build strategies and tools to address them.
Gill is a Trustee of 3 organisations and in her spare time enjoys exploring in nature, sea swimming and spending time with family and friends.
