Our Why...
Whether it’s fundraising, strategy, governance or impact, we’re here to help you navigate uncertainty — and come out stronger.
We know it’s a tough and competitive time. Charities and social enterprises are needed more than ever, but funding feels harder to secure. That’s where we come in.
We use our experience to help you grow income, strengthen your organisation and increase your impact. Our support is practical, personal and built around what you need — whether that’s short-term advice or long-term support.
We also help you grow in-house skills, so when you’re ready, you can carry the work forward yourself. That might mean mentoring a new fundraiser or helping you embed new systems and ways of working.
What That’s Looked Like in the Past Year
- Supported 13 fundraising clients to secure nearly £600,000 in grant income
- Delivered a £5.28 return for every £1 invested for one children and young people’s charity
- Helped every client build stronger funder relationships and pipelines for the future
Our Social Heart
We’re a social business — and our goal is to help charities and CICs of all sizes.
That’s why we offer free resources, low-cost training and our Charity of the Season programme, giving extra time and attention to smaller organisations who need it.

It depends on what type of support you require. For example, if you are looking for ongoing retainer work, we would allow a couple of months from your initial enquiry to project start. This allows us to allocate your work to the team and ensures we gather all the relevant information from you. If you require mentoring or coaching the time frame is likely to be shorter. We will discuss all of this at your initial meeting.
Our initial Charity Check-In provides you with a free 30-minute meeting where we can hear about your challenges. We use a coaching approach to ask you questions and help you to discover and plan your next steps. This could be receiving further input from us, or signposting to other resources or organisations.
No. We also work with Community Interest Companies, Not for Profit limited companies and individuals.
Yes, we encourage all new clients to speak to an existing or past MMC client. It helps you to ask the questions that you have about working with a consultancy. There is no better way that hearing it from someone who has been there.
Depending on what type of support and for how long, will indicate how much this will cost. We are open and clear on our pricing and we offer payment plans for organisations who wish to spread the cost of support over a period of months.
